Help Feifei

The hours are counting down. Feifei and her mother apply for their Emergency Medical Visa in 4 hours from now (10 p.m. EST, 10 a.m. China Time).

Please pray that USA visa offers in Chengdu see the obvious need of this situation and will be moved with compassion for Feifei and her family.

If all goes well, their flight agenda will be as follows:
Chengdu -- > Beijing
Beijing -- > New York (JFK)
New York -- > Baltimore (BWI or WAS).

If we can't find a flight from JFK to BWI/WAS, we may be driving to New York to meet them at the International terminal and drive them to Baltimore. Either flying or driving, the connection from International to local will be tiring for Feifei and her Mom, especially after that jetlag kicks in.

Some of you know that doctors and hospitals in the USA have invited Feifei to America for medical treatment. To come to the USA, formal letters must be submitted to an American Embassy or Consulate Office for an Emergency Medical Visa. Surgery to help her urinary tract has already been scheduled for early April, 2008, so time is of the essence.

Our family planned to meet Feifei this Friday, March 28, 2008, and her Mother as they fly from Chongqing, China to Baltimore, Maryland. However, the Visa and formal letters have encountered delays. Obtaining a Visa from American Embassies and Consulates in China is *very* difficult and obfuscated. So the process is still challenging.

Please continue to pray for Feifei's health and that this medical process will come to fruition with great success for her. We'll are so excited to rendezvousing with Xiang Meifei very soon in Baltimore.
